Microsoft sued over passwords

The software giant Microsoft, has been sued over requesting a couple of passwords! And they have had to fork out over $140 million for the privilege.

In order to stop piracy Microsoft had developed a system that would mean that by asking for an extra password, they will be able to offer a better level of security that would benefit from the extra password. But not people agree.

The funny thing is, that this does not prevent piracy, because for anyone who wants to they can hunt around and find a free copy or at find some passwords that will allow a user to get the system working. So the whole thing is really pointless.
