The business of being green

There are not many places that you can go or see on the TV where eco friendly items are being marketing. The problem is for the average person going green is not very easy, first there is the time consumption because inevitably going green slows things down and then there is cost, going green can be expensive.

But in order to really go green, it could be necessary to spend around £30,000! However the problem is in five year time you would have only recouped around £9,000 in green savings, with most of these green changes recouping their costs over their lifetime.

So for someone who has a spare £30,000 hanging around then it is fine, but for people who have to save and work hard the figures do not really add up. This makes go green at whatever level very expensive and only really available to those who have the cash lying around.
