Smoking ban a year on

It’s been a year since the smoking ban was introduced in the UK, and so far there has been a mixed response as to whether or not this has helped in any way at all.

Clearly there are the health benefits, nobody wants to be stuck in a room full of smoke, and not even smokers do, so in that case the ban has made for better places to work and to go out to.

It has been estimated that over four hundred thousand people have given smoking simply because of the ban, which is another great point.

But, when it comes to business, this is where the ban has been hurting, it has been said that the country’s working mans clubs will be forced to close and pubs are also struggling to cope with the loss of regular drinkers who liked to light up while drinking.
